*Math:
We are learning more about decimal place value. Students are learning how to change fractions to decimals. They are doing this by connecting decimals to money. From this, we will be moving exclusively into decimals. Students can look forward to adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, comparing, and ordering decimals.
*Reading:
Our Treasures story this week is "Me and Uncle Romie." Our skills are: Vocabulary-context clues, Comprehension-character traits, Grammar-adjectives that compare. Our theme is art and artists.
*Social Studies:
We are studying the imports and exports of Maine and will be looking at Maine's economy.
*Science:
We will be looking at physical and chemical changes as well as states of matter.
